Returns, Exchanges & Issue Resolution

At 4th to 5th Automotive, we understand that buying aftermarket parts—especially online—requires trust. These are not small purchases, and fitment, condition, and support matter.

Our promise is straightforward:

If something is genuinely wrong, you will not be left on your own.

We will communicate clearly, review the situation carefully, and work toward a fair resolution.


Our Approach

We specialize in vehicle-specific, enthusiast-grade parts. Because of the nature of performance components, returns and resolutions must be handled responsibly—for both the customer and the integrity of the product.

Rather than offering blanket, no-questions-asked returns, we operate on a case-based resolution model:

  • Clear expectations up front
  • Careful review when issues arise
  • Fair outcomes when something is truly wrong


If you’re unsure about fitment or compatibility, we strongly encourage reaching out before ordering. Helping you get it right the first time is always the best outcome for everyone.


Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Installed or used parts
  • Parts showing signs of installation or test-fitting
  • Electrical components once opened
  • Special-order or made-to-order items
  • Clearance or final-sale items

Once a performance part is installed or opened, it can no longer be verified, resold, or returned to the manufacturer. These restrictions are standard within the aftermarket industry.


Eligible Returns (Uninstalled Items)

Uninstalled, unused items in original condition may be eligible for return under the following conditions:

  • Return request submitted within 7 days of delivery
  • Item remains unused and uninstalled
  • Original packaging, hardware, and materials included
  • Return authorization approved prior to shipping


Approved returns may be subject to:

  • A restocking fee (typically 10–20%), depending on the product and supplier
  • Return shipping costs paid by the customer


Returns sent without authorization may be refused.


Fitment Issues, Defects & Order Errors


If you believe there is a fitment issue, manufacturing defect, or fulfillment error:

  1. Do not install the item
  2. Contact us as soon as possible with:
  • Your order number
  • Vehicle details
  • Photos or supporting information

3. Once reviewed, we will work directly with:

  • The manufacturer
  • The distributor
  • Or our fulfillment partner

to determine the most appropriate and fair resolution, which may include:

  • Replacement
  • Exchange
  • Manufacturer warranty support

Every situation is reviewed individually. Our goal is not to deflect responsibility—but to resolve issues correctly and honestly.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, notify us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the issue and packaging.

Once verified, we will resolve the problem at no additional cost to you.


Manufacturer Warranties

Many products sold through 4th to 5th Automotive carry a manufacturer-backed warranty.

We are always willing to:

  • Help initiate warranty claims
  • Provide documentation
  • Assist with communication and next steps

Final warranty approval remains with the manufacturer, but we will do our part to support the process.


Important Notes

  • Items must not be shipped back without authorization
  • Unauthorized returns may be refused
  • Buyer’s remorse or incorrect ordering is not grounds for return once items are opened
  • We reserve the right to deny returns that do not meet policy requirements

LVA products are made-to-order. Due to the customization of the products, all LVA Orders have a 5-7 day lead time for production before being shipped out.
