The name "4th to 5th Automotive" is derived from a couple of references. One obvious connection is the shift from 4th to 5th gear. Congratulations you guessed right! You're so smart!. However, the true origin of the name might surprise you. It isn't a badge for prestige; rather, it reflects our identity as fellow car enthusiasts. I, Caleb Hiatt, am the Owner and Founder of 4th To 5th Automotive, and it's my love for cars that drives our mission.

My passion for cars began with a bright white 2000 Chevrolet Camaro equipped with a 3.8 V6 and an Automatic 4 Speed Transmission. Despite its lack of desirable sports car features, such as power and sporty suspension, I envisioned its potential for modification. This sparked my passion for modifying cars.

Unfortunately, like many automotive enthusiasts, my visions often remained confined to my thoughts. This was true for my 2000 Chevrolet Camaro, making way for a new vision—a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro 3.6. The significance of the V6 engine in the name becomes apparent here. After two years of dedication, my 2010 Camaro started turning heads at shows and meets. However, my journey faced a setback when the engine failed, turning my dream car into an oversized paperweight.

The 4th Generation Camaro (1994-2002) transitioned to the 5th Generation (2010-2015), symbolizing different journeys in the automotive world. This page is not a tale of woe or caution but a shared experience. Many of us have encountered unfinished dream builds in our garages. 4th To 5th Automotive pays homage to the Camaros that never saw completion and all the cars on jack stands waiting to be finished – including yours.
