This is the GrimmSpeed Front Mount Intercooler Kit. This is the latest offering from GrimmSpeed and has been designed with a great balance of low-pressure drop and high-temperature rejection to provide optimal performance for a turbocharged engine. This intercooler kit is very beneficial for those of you with minimal to moderate modifications as those modifications will surpass the cooling capacity and limits of your factory top mount intercooler.
INTERCOOLER CORE SPECS:
- Silver core finish option
- 27" x 11" x 4" Cross Flow Core
- Durable bar and plate construction that has a perfect balance of pressure drop and heat rejection
- Cast aluminum end tanks - Designed for equal flow distribution and minimum pressure drop
- Steel bolt-on mounting brackets - Robust mounting solution to minimize movement and to maximize adjustability
- No permanent vehicle modification - Only two tiny ribs need to be removed from the OEM undertray and a few simple cuts to the splash guard
- Compatible with the factory or GrimmSpeed Intake with the removal of the factory snorkel
- Pressure tested, cleaned, sealed, and guaranteed to work prior to delivery
- No tune required - No change in maximum boost or spool time
- Welded and inspected by hand in Minneapolis, MN for consistency and optimal quality control
- Includes pre-applied GrimmSpeed sticker

- Thick .090 wall 2.5" diameter 6061 aluminum piping construction
- Bead rolled and CNC mandrel-bent on a large radius for max flow
- Lightweight and heat dispersant
- Precision pipe routing - Retains factory components and avoids unnecessary trimming
- Retains the factory fog light mounting
- 5-ply silicone couplers - Custom-molded and reinforced to withstand demanding environments
- Breeze Hi-Torque Liner Clamps - Stainless steel for lasting durability and grip with an integrated liner to prevent damage to the silicone
- Durable powder-coated finish keeps pipes protected against corrosion while keeping a great look
- OEM bypass valve location - Eases installation and allows for use of most aftermarket BPVs
