This is the Radium Engineering Fuel Surge Tank Install Kit. This is a comprehensive installation kit that includes everything needed to install a Radium Surge Tank with a single 39mm fuel pump. This kit includes all of the major components including but not limited to, PTFE-insulated wiring and submersible hose to make this kit ethanol/methanol/E85 compliant. Additionally, this kit has been designed to locate the fuel surge tank in a collision-safe area of the trunk centered behind the rear seat. This allows for 100% of the trunk space to still be usable as the panels will be reinstalled along with the OEM battery and windshield washer tank. Additionally, included are wiring components with flying leads featuring Raychem solderless butt splices, and a weatherproof fuse and relay to drive the fuel surge tank's fuel pump. The wiring is fairly simple and can be assembled in 30 minutes without any soldering.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Includes (4) 3/8" (-6AN) PTFE hoses that are cut to length and preassembled
- The PTFE Hose is perfect for all types of fuel, especially with high alcohol contents such as E85
- PTFE is non-permeable and eliminates any possible fuel vapor smell in the vehicle
- Radium PTFE hoses use anodized aluminum hose ends and are cut-to-length specifically for the Evo X
- The inner stainless steel braid resists extreme fuel pressures and is covered with black PVC which gives the hose added protection from debris and provides abrasion protection
- Supplied in -6AN size only that integrates with the OEM fuel lines
- Includes an aluminum mounting bracket
- Includes AN and OEM-style adapter fittings
- Includes stainless steel hardware
- Includes wiring components with relay and fuse
NOTES:
- Due to the restrictive return port on the OEM fuel pump housing, a slightly higher static fuel pressure is normal when using a high-flow pump
- To alleviate this issue, the OEM fuel pump housing in the return port can be modified to alleviate the restriction and promote fuel flow back into the OEM fuel tank
- Fuel surge tank not included
