Here, you are looking at the Stoptech SelectSportPackage which features Stoptech's drilled and slotted silver zinc-plated brake rotors that are combined with Stoptech's Street Select brake pads. This is a high-performance upgrade over your factory rotors and pads to increase the stopping capacity and cooling for street use, and for the occasional weekend track event. Even if you enjoy the spirited canyon cruise, the Select Sport Package offers a great initial bite with pads that are not too aggressive, and are low-dust to improve the braking performance of your vehicle. Below are detailed features of both the rotors and pads included in this kit.
REAR LOCATION
STOPTECH DRILLED/SLOTTED ROTORS:
- Drilled and Slotted design to repel brake debris under high-performance driving conditions for improved cooling and braking performance
- Slots will wipe the surface contact between the pad and the rotor to improve the bite
- Drilled holes will allow hot gases to escape the rotor
- Reduced tor weight reduces rotational mass
- CNC machined surface
- Drilled and Slotted design also improves braking in wet conditions
- Vented rotors improve heat dissipation
STOPTECH STREET BRAKE PADS:
- Ideal brake pad for daily driver use
- Low dust/low noise
- Manufactured to include all OE gas slots and chambers which will ensureforefficient and safe braking
- Positive molded technology provides reliable and safe stopping performance for the entire service life of the brake pad
- Precision cut backing plates ensure correct pad fitment in the caliper body which helps eliminate vibrations and noise under braking
- Application-specific pad shims are included to eliminate noise associated with brake pad vibrations

- Rear location only
- For all 02/03 WRX owners, please verify pad fitment before purchase - There was a rear caliper design change mid-production year - This will be determined by the BUILD DATE (not model year), which is found on the VIN plate in the driver’s side door jam
- This style of pad is confirmed for all WRX models with a date of 09/02 and earlier - For all cars with 10/02-12/02, you will need to verify by comparing to your existing pad shape to our online photos
