Here, you are looking at the AMS Performance Transmission Oil Cooler Kit. This oil cooler kit has been designed to lower the temperatures in the SST transmission for improved cooling and performance. Overheating is a common occurrence when driven hard, and the AMS Performance Transmission Cooler Kit helps to prevent that by using a high quality larger capacity heat exchanger with a fan that pulls air through the core the entire time the car is running.
DETAILS:
- 8-inch full-time fan to constantly pull in air through the cooler
- Directly replaces the OEM cooler with no cutting or modifying the OEM plastics or body panels
- High-quality oil cooler that adds an extra 1/2 quart of fluid capacity
- Large frontal area of core allows for even better cooling
- Includes cooler
- Includes electric fan that easily wires into the factory fuse box
- Includes stainless steel brackets for long life and a seamless installation
- Includes all necessary hardware and wiring to install in the OEM hose integration
- For SST model transmissions only
NOTE: Due to the size of the transmission cooler being much larger than stock most aftermarket lower intercooler pipes will not fit, including the AMS lower intercooler pipe. This kit is made to fit with the stock intercooler pipe.
