RallySport Direct carries a large variety of DEI products to provide your engine and vehicle with extra protection against heat generated by exhaust or turbocharger components.
Here, you are looking at the DEI Versa-Shield. The Versa-Shield Has been designed to protect starters from potential failure caused by under hood heat soak conditions. Constructed using an aluminized heat reflective material backed with a hi-temp rated glass fiber insulation barrier, Versa-Shield is capable of reflecting radiant heat up to 2000°F.
DETAILS:
- 7" W x 24" L in size
- Can trim to size to be a universal fitment
- Edges close with hook and loop design
- Can also protect your master cylinder, cool cans, distributor, fuel pumps, and more
- No need to remove the starter for the installation in most cases
- Direct heat resistance: 500°F
- Radiant heat resistance: 2000°F
