EBC GD Sport Discs are designed for fast street performance, featuring wide aperture slots that draw cool air into the braking surface to reduce temperatures and help prevent brake fade. The dimple-drilled design avoids stress cracking, while the Gen 1/2/3 protective coating delivers long-lasting corrosion resistance and an attractive finish. For 2023 and newer production, discs are finished in GEN 3 silver Geomet, matching OE rotor hubs. These sport discs use reduced three-slot venting, minimizing air noise under heavy braking while still maintaining excellent cooling performance. The full-width slot design also helps maintain flat, parallel pad wear, preventing uneven wear, grooves, and galling commonly found on non-slotted discs. This results in improved pad contact and consistent braking performance throughout the life of both the disc and pads.
