This is the South Bend Stage 3 Endurance Clutch Kit. The Stage 3 Endurance has been designed to have a much higher torque rating than the factory clutch, and it is ideal for those with highly modified street cars, or track-dedicated race cars, drag cars, or rally cars. If you have an engine built with forged internals or forced induction with more boost that would greatly overpower the limits of the factory clutch, then the Stage 3 Endurance will hold the power. If you have a race car that doesn't make a large amount of power but needs a clutch that can sustain high levels of abuse associated with racing, then the Stage 3 Endurance will provide the performance and longevity needed to survive the harsh condition associated with racing.
SPECS:
- Rated to 450 ft/lbs
- Includes an SFI-approved pressure plate designed to provide maximum plate load
- The disc features a kevlar-friction material with unique static to dynamic ratios of friction coefficients at high energy levels
- The disc promotes a better transition from one gear to the next with built-in torsion springs that provide adequate damping between shifts
- Ideal for highly modified street cars
- Ideal for track-dedicated race cars and rally cars as well
- Comfortable enough for daily driver use
- Sold as a complete kit with pilot bearing, throw-out bearing, and alignment tool (some models may vary)
