This is the GrimmSpeed Top Mount Intercooler Kit. Once you start performing modifications that add more horsepower and more boost, eventually you will surpass the limits in terms of the thermal capacity of your factory top mount intercooler. Heat soak will occur, and you will put a limit on your modifications and engine performance as a whole. GrimmSpeed's approach introduces a larger core that provides more area surface coverage to not only cool the intake charge temperatures but to keep them consistent under high-performance driving conditions where your engine will experience more heat. This is the perfect solution over the factory top mount intercooler unit for those looking to make more power and performance with better cooling efficiency.
