This is the GrimSpeed Electronic Boost Control Solenoid. This is one of GrimmSpeed's most utilized upgrades due to the durability, simplicity of use, and the performance it delivers. This is a must-have for those of you who are getting your vehicle fine-tuned outside of the capacities of the factory 2-port boost control unit. The 3-port system works by interrupting the boost signal that travels from the turbocharger to the wastegate. The factory system will 'bleed' the signal between the turbocharger and the wastegate which will create a system that reacts slowly, and with less precision. The GrimmSpeed BCS will provide a much tighter boost control and consistency that makes life easier for the tuner as the boost control will be more prompt and precise.
DETAILS:
- Includes 1/4" barbed fittings to match the factory turbo and wastegate hose size
- The proprietary internal modification design prepares the solenoid for extreme conditions below the vehicle
- Plug and play operation directly into the factory wiring harness with no modification required
- Flexible design for aftermarket turbo inlets
- Provides a quicker, and more precise boost control response
- Makes tuning more simple and direct for the tuner
- Includes the 3-port boost control solenoid
- Includes the plug and play connector
- Includes a laser cut and CNC bent steel bracket that is zinc plated with stainless press-in nuts
- Includes zinc-plated barb fittings that are preassembled with anaerobic sealant
- Includes 4-feet of 1/4" hose and zip ties
- Includes all of the rest of the necessary hardware for the installation
NOTE:
- This product is not for use with the stock 2015 WRX turbo or other stock replacement turbochargers
- This solenoid is for aftermarket turbo kits and as such, does not include the required adapter for the stock FA20 turbo inlet
