This is the GrimmSpeed Top Mount Intercooler. Once you start performing modifications that add more horsepower and more boost, eventually you will surpass the limits in terms of the thermal capacity of your factory top mount intercooler. Heat soak will occur, and you will put a limit on your modifications and engine performance as a whole. GrimmSpeed's approach introduces a larger core that provides more area surface coverage to not only cool the intake charge temperatures but to keep them consistent under high-performance driving conditions where your engine will experience more heat. This is the perfect solution over the factory top mount intercooler unit for those looking to make more power and performance with better cooling efficiency.

- Smooth end-tank internal contours provide maximum flow
- Machined throttle body connection provides a tight and trouble-free seal
- Machined flange faces and internal bores provide maximum pressure-tightness with unrestricted flow
- Permanent mold end-tank tooling and casting allows for tighter tolerances and higher strength
- Stainless-steel threaded inserts prevent cross-threading or damaged threads
- High-density and high-flow core optimizes heat transfer and minimizes flow restrictions
- Flows over 1500 CFM
- Supports power levels up to 575 WHP
- Pressure tested up to 50 PSI
- Thoroughly cleaned and inspected before shipment
- Will include the GrimmSpeed Inlet and BPV gaskets

- 04-05 Forester XT models will require an STI BOV and STI BOV recirculation hose
