Developed as a collaboration between LiquiVinyl Aerodynamics and TYPE 45, the LVA x TYPE 45 Adjustable Wing Riser Extensions transform the factory FL5 rear wing into a significantly more adjustable aero setup—without requiring you to replace the OEM wing.
The system mounts directly to the factory wing and OEM riser mounting locations, retaining the factory wing while introducing independent height and angle adjustment.
At maximum height and tilt, the rear of the wing can be raised up to 6 inches, dramatically changing both the appearance and positioning of the factory airfoil.
But height is only part of the design.
22° OF WING ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
The LVA x TYPE 45 extensions provide up to 22 degrees of angle adjustment, allowing the OEM wing to be run from its factory angle through increasingly aggressive configurations.
At the stock angle, the system gives the FL5 a taller, more pronounced rear-wing position while retaining the factory wing’s original angle of attack.
Increase the angle and the factory wing becomes substantially more aggressive, with the maximum setting designed to produce up to approximately 2x the downforce of the OEM-angle configuration.
This gives owners the ability to choose between a more conservative street configuration or a considerably more aggressive aero setup using the same factory wing.
USE THE WING HONDA ALREADY GAVE YOU
The FL5 already comes equipped with a functional rear wing. Rather than replacing it purely for the sake of adding adjustability, LVA and TYPE 45 developed a system around it.
The extensions retain the OEM wing and factory riser mounting locations, using purpose-built brackets and adjustable hardware to reposition the airfoil higher and provide a much wider range of angle adjustment.
No universal wing. No completely different deck. No abandoning the factory FL5 design.
Just considerably more control over how the OEM wing is positioned and used.
