Turbocharged vehicles really respond well to a quality aftermarket system, and Mishimoto delivers with their Performance Air Intake System. This intake is a direct replacement of the factory intake box which allows the turbocharger to breathe much better under acceleration. Once the Mishimoto Performance Air Intake is installed, users are seeing between 12 and 15WHP gains on a stock tune.
This is achieved by maximizing airflow through the smooth intake tube which has been designed to limit turbulence and pressure under acceleration. The result is more power, more torque with reduced turbo lag, and you get that aggressive cold air intake noise under full throttle. The air is forced through a high flow filter which traps the smallest of microns to ensure that this intake only allows clean air to pass through. The filter is protected by an air box which shields the filter from harmful engine temperatures. The airbox has also been powder-coated a nice black finish for extra protection against rust and corrosion, and it adds a cleaner look to the engine bay.
This particular intake will come with the option of a black powder-coated intake pipe. A high-temp silicone hose, all the required brackets, and hardware are included to make this intake ready for installation.
