This is the Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Heat Exchanger. The factory heat exchanger in the A90 Supra can be inadequate in size especially if you perform modifications that increase the power and boost where you can experience potential heat soak issues and higher intake air temperatures. The Mishimoto unit features an all-aluminum replacement that is TIG-welded for maximum durability. Additionally, Mishimoto utilized strutted tubes within the heat exchanger core to provide additional resistance against bowing and flexing under hard cornering. Finally when compared to the OEM unit, the Mishimoto replacement in terms of core size is 31% larger with a 48% increase to the external fin surface area. This will keep those intake air temperatures lowered to improve and maintain the performance in the A90 Toyota Supra.
