This is the ACT Heavy-Duty Performance Race Sprung 6-Puck Disc Clutch Kit w/ StreetLite Flywheel. This is a great clutch kit for those with vehicles built for high-horsepower street or race use. This kit combines ACT's Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate with their 6-pad disc to have a higher torque rating that surpasses the limits of the OEM clutch.
DETAILS:
- Designed with an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life
- All diaphragms endure a four-stage heat-treating process for unparalleled performance
- The pressure plate has precision cover stampings for improved rigidity and consistency
- 6-pad spring-centered race disc features a spring-center construction to properly clamp torsional vibration and to resist failure under harsh conditions
- Spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support
- The spring-centered race disc engagement is harsher but provides faster shifts
- Monoloc collar
- Feel: Light to a moderate pedal effort with aggressive engagement
- Life: Moderate friction life
- Recommended for high horsepower street or race use
