This is the Chemical Guys Decon Pro Decontamination and Iron Remover. This stuff is always great to use either after winter time when your car has gathered salt and road deposits, and it is also a great product to use just before a major detail. It reacts with iron deposits to neutralize any bonds with porous surfaces. Simply spray onto the contaminated areas of your vehicle and the iron catalyst will turn purple once the reaction is complete. Additionally, it can be used as a wheel cleaner as it has a pH-balanced formula that is safe for all wheel types whether they contain gloss paint or clear coat finishes, as well as polished metal, chrome, or even glass finishes as well. It works really well to remove stuck on brake dust and contaminants.
Use this product during the initial car wash and spray contaminated areas, wait until it turns purple and you can work it into the finish using a mild non-abrasive tool or simply spray off. Follow up with a clay bar to remove all contamination.
