On this page, you are looking at the Torque Solutions Thermal Turbo Blanket. These are a great addition to any turbocharged vehicle because their main intended purpose is to contain and trap extreme heat generated from the turbocharger so that you can protect the surrounding engine components from heat exposure. This is also a great option for those of you with a top mount intercooler setup that needs extra protection from heat soak which can affect your performance.
Torque Solution designed this blanket with protective wire mesh along with insulated fiberglass layers, as well as an external silicone/fiberglass layer.
The interior surface has a max temperature rating of 2012°F/1100°C, with a continuous use limit of 1832°F/1000°C. The exterior surface has a direct contact limit of 600°F/316°C with a radiant heat limit of 1100°F/593°C.
Note that this blanket will come in a red finish, and will fit T4 framed turbochargers.
